On behalf of the company Mkisa, SST carried out the installation and software configuration of an agro-meteorological station and sensor systems in a 20-hectare blueberry orchard located in the Khobi Municipality. The project aimed to enhance orchard management and increase yields through the use of modern technologies.

In the first phase of the project, SST experts conducted a detailed assessment of the target plot. Based on the site conditions, appropriate sensor systems were selected. Following this, SST ensured the import, installation, and software configuration of the systems.

Installed Sensor Systems:

• Weather Station – Vantage Pro2 GroWeather;

• Tensiometer;

• Leaf Wetness Sensor;

• Soil Temperature Sensor.
   

This system significantly reduces agro-risks, simplifies and improves orchard management, and supports the optimization of resources such as irrigation water, labor, and chemicals. Ultimately, it contributes to higher yields and improved blueberry quality.
