SST carried out the design, installation, and software configuration of an agro-meteorological station and sensor systems in a vineyard located in the Kakheti region, covering a total area of 23 hectares.

During the sensor system planning phase, the company’s experts selected the appropriate types and number of systems based on the crop and topography of the site. The goal was to ensure comprehensive data collection across the entire area and effective management of the installed systems.

Sensor systems installed within the project on the target plot:

• μMETOS 300-USW meteorological station;

• Soil moisture sensors (tensiometers);

• Leaf wetness sensor.
   

"Through the sensor systems, the farmer:

• Receives detailed information on climate data and weather forecasts;

• Manages irrigation effectively;

• Plans agro-technical activities in the field (e.g., optimal timing for pesticide and fertilizer application, best harvest period);

• And more.
